Emotions: There are emotions of compassion, respect, humility, patience, and understanding presented within the verse. It encourages a mature and thoughtful approach to communication, highlighting a sense of empathy with a graceful tone in conversations.

Imagery: The verse invokes imagery through the metaphor 'seasoned with salt.' Salt adds flavor and preserves food, rendering the imagery as one where wisdom, kindness, and grace add taste and longevity to conversations.

Illustration: A person speaking gentle and wise words that transform into iridescent gems as they leave their mouth. Each spoken gem is picked up by an array of different people (outsiders) who hold up these gems against the light, appreciating the shine, and getting touched by their beauty. The speaker's words are wisely chosen, thoughtful, full of respect, and love, which is reflected in the radiance of the gems. Meanwhile, a small salt shaker sits nearby, representing wisdom and grace seasoning the conversations which in turn add value to each interaction.
