Verse of the day: John 10:28-30

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”"

In today's world, it's easy to feel vulnerable and adrift amidst the waves of uncertainty and fear. But, as we delve into the verse, 'I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.' (John 10:28-30), we find an unshakeable harbor of peace.

This scripture brings to us a powerful promise - the assurance of the eternal life and divine protection that Jesus grants us. As His followers, we inherit the promise of never perishing, never being snatched from His protective grasp, nor from the Father's hand. This promise should embolden us, make us walk taller, and help us navigate life’s challenges with braver hearts.

Visualize a protective hand, gently but firmly holding onto us. It's a comforting image, isn't it? It suggests we are not wandering aimlessly through life alone, but are being held and guided by a power far greater than worldly trials.

Let's absorb the profound protection this hand signifies - the unyielding, unfaltering grip that will never let us go. The same loving Hand that formed the universe holds onto us, offering comfort, security, strength, and above all, an endless love. Only then do we grasp the incredible depth of the unity between Jesus and the Father - a unity so complete, so profound, that Jesus says, 'I and the Father are one.'

This is an invitation for all of us to seek cover under His wings and hold onto His unending love and divine protection. No matter the turmoil or storms surrounding us, they cannot snatch us away from the protective Hand of Jesus and our Heavenly Father. They are our sanctuary, our safe place, our eternal home.

So, carry this image with you, imprint it onto your heart - that of being held securely in a loving Hand. Let it guide you towards accepting the peace and protection offered freely to you by Jesus and the Father for they are indeed one - a unity that shields us, now and forever.
